On XP and Vista I could use the drivers and soundfont manager that was provided on the CD but this was not stable on Vista and the upgrade version of the driver did not have a soundfont manager. This is the same for the auto installed driver on Windows 7. This is silly because I have purchased a sound card that supports soundfonts and even purchased some additional soundfonts and now I can't used this feature on Windows 7. You should download a General MIDI Soundfont, specify it in settings dialogue and try again. Unpack it to the soundfont folder in your lmms installation copy the path to. I downloaded a GeneralUser soundfont but windows won't open it. Something to do with it being a sfArk file I think.
