Generic Wifi Driver Windows 8

When encountering Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport-adapter Driver driver problems you must decide whether to fix these yourself (which sometimes get complicated),. Linux install TP-Link TL-WN725N Step by step how to usb driver install nano version 2 WiFi ubuntu driver install. This how to will work on Ubuntu TL-WN725N install.

Let me start off by saying I'm running Windows 8.1 on a somewhat new Asus Q550LF laptop. I have: Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics Nvidia GeForce 745M graphics card Intel i7 4500 processor If you're wondering, all of my drivers can be found here: I've recently been trying to connect an HD TV to my laptop via HDMI. Although I get video perfectly, I cannot get sound out of the TV. Under playback devices, it says that the HDMI is not plugged in (although it clearly is).

I've tried plugging it in before restarting, I've tried uninstalling all audio drivers from Device Manager, I've tried reinstalling my Realtek HD Audio driver. Regent Halex Dartboard Manual Instruction more. I am also sure it's not the TV or the HDMI cable because they both work with another laptop. Also, this is what my device manager currently looks like: Any and all help is greatly appreciated! So just to let you know, I solved the problem! At first, I tried reinstalling windows, but not even that solved it. So when I went to the Asus website to download/reinstall all my drivers I did that for my wifi, nvidia graphics card, etc.

However, I installed Intel Update Driver Utility (as suggested by someone above I believe): And I noticed that it found my wifi and bluetooth drivers, but not my Intel Graphics Card driver. It said that I had the generic driver, not for my PC (despite that in the taskbar I had the blue intel driver icon to show I had the driver). So I went back to the Asus website, redownload my graphics card driver: 'VGA_Intel_Win81_64_VER02' (for my specific model laptop) and after an installation and a reboot, it was working!! My HDMI in playback devices was labeled 'Intel Display Audio' instead 'HDMI device not plugged in'! It really didn't help me when people would reply suggesting the same things over and over even though I tried them and they did not work. I know how frustrated you're feeling:P I hope this helps!
