What do you guys recommend for cleaning and optimization? I have CCleaner and Auslogics Boostspeed. CCleaner seems like a small tool that cleans thoroughly and has great reviews and uses very little memory in the background while it actively monitors your system (though I'm not exactly sure what it monitors). Boostspeed has some nifty tools that claims to smooth out your system but uses a lot of memory in the background (Driver Upater also uses up a lot of memory). Is there a speed tool for windows startup?

There are lots of 3rd party tools that tests a website's loading speed and tells you what scripts/files load up how fast/slow in which order, but curious to know if there is a speed test for a computer that tells you which programs launch in which order and what speed? Lastly, what do you guys recommend for disk defrag?

These registry cleaners and optimizers claim to speed up your computer by finding and removing orphaned and corrupt registry entries that are responsible for slowing down system performance. There is no statistical evidence to back such claims. Advertisements to do so are borderline scams intended to goad users into using an unnecessary and potential dangerous product.
